Hall Facilities and charges

N.B.  Our prices will be going up by 10% from 1st January 2017.  

The Tin Tabernacle is a privately owned exhibition space and hire venue.  It is no longer available for bookings of wedding receptions or private parties.  Celebrant ceremonies can, however, be accommodated.

The main hall area of the Tin Tabernacle and the gardens are available to hire for the exhibition of arts and crafts, for events such as concerts and shows, and for local organisations and clubs. There is a large open area which can seat up to 150 people, seated in rows and 100 at tables.  There is approximately 2245 square feet of ground floor accommodation. There is access to a kitchen area with a cooker, washing up facilities, kettle, and coffee maker. There are toilets, including disabled facilities. There are chairs and tables included in the hire costs.

Exhibiting

The venue, including the gardens are available for local artists to exhibit their material. There would be a charge for installing each exhibit (according to wall space), and when the item sells the Tin Tabernacle would charge a percentage of the sale price.  Insurance for the item exhibited is the responsibility of the exhibitor , and the insurance certificate would need to be shown before the exhibit were installed, or a disclaimer would need to be signed.  The hall has a high quality hanging system installed, with provision for up to 100 exhibits, dependent upon size.

 

There is a bar facility available, or a corkage will be charged (details on request).

We have a gazebo for hire at £80 including erection and dismantling.
